my stater is a CK98 so I dont need another one right now,,, and I've seen the 93 for 175.00 US and although I'd like to have it along with some other mics like better lavs and maybe some boundary stuff ,,, that can wait.

The tread's going in a another direction I really just want to improve my audio with the mics I have now and needed advice on decicing between the recorder rig or boosting audio to the cam.

I've been really pondering on your advice so I can step up what I have right now and I have to admit that the the Pre is the best choice right now. I see all the advice comes down to the Pre.

I was a lil confused for a while and did look at the laptop recording as the way out for less money but I can see how Synch and power would be the first woes to overcome. Then I'd have to also grow another head the the extra hat. lol

Really ,,, thank you all for taking the time to get me this far. I hope to find you all again when I'm in need of a Pre Boot Camp from you.
