So I've had my cam for about a month now and everything was working fine until last night when I was changing shutter speeds. The screen went black (not the menus) just the actual video. Anywhere I pointed my camera it was just black. So I switched it to one of the still modes and it said, "please check if lens is attached properly" and yes I realize you have to have the option of "shoot w/out lens" on. And I did have it like that.
so then after a bit of trying to figure out the problem the screen switched from a black screen to a lot of vertical lines....like some kind of glitch.
I did the hack on my camera again and started to change my settings to how I had it, starting with the stabilizer, but now the stabilizer option is unclickable. Also i'm noticing that every time I switch the aspect ratio and ISO increments on the photo still menu.... when i go to the film mode and come back to the still mode... I see that all the settings have reverted to what they originally were and not what I had changed them to.
I am thinking that the camera is not saving my changes so therefore it doesn't save the "Shoot w/out lens" ON option, and maybe that's why it's saying that the lens is not attached properly?

PS Alright so now my cam is saving the settings i put like, "w/o lens" but still when i'm pointing the camera around... after a while the screen will get filled with vertical gray and purple lines...
