felliniesque film

Once a movie is picked up the filmmaker can't make indie movies anymore. The chances of getting picked up for an indie filmmaker are slim; you're in luck:) You get to keep all the rights to your movie until you are established and can get your price (a fair share of the movie profits). Until then hold on to your rights.

I hope everyone had a great Christmas and Hanukah celebrations. I got an iTouch as present this year -- quite unexpected :) I didn't know much about it, never expecting to have the money to buy (prioritize) one myself. I could shoot several no-budget movies for what it probably cost to buy.LOL

Here is the thing, I converted THE RED QUEEN to an iPod file (.m4v) and dragged it to the iTouch and voila! it sits now on my iTouch. I watched the whole 83 minute rock-n-roll magical felliniesque movie again on the iTouch and it was beautiful!

I did the encoding from FCP 5.04 and the 15 Gig file ended up as 740 MBs. I don't know what resolution or size of the iPod file is on FCP. Does anyone?

Anyway, I'm happy because now I can put all my feature films and trailers on the iTouch (7+ Gig capacity) and go anywhere in the world and sell to distributors! That is so cool!
