Feeler: O'Connor Ultimate 10-30 tripod head with 1 pan handle

Thinking of selling this, but I'm not sure what it's worth, or if there would be any interest in it.

I have an O'Connor Ultimate 10-30 tripod head with 1 handle. It's showing some wear but otherwise works well. It was great for our DVCPro AJPD900 shoulder mount cam and it's overkill for our 170. This would be great for a 300 or 500 though.

I do have the quick release plate as well and can upload pics of that if there's interest.

Anybody have a good estimate on what this head is worth?

I've been PM'd by a few people. One person said it looked like it was an older model 1030 head. I'm sure, when it was new, it was likely at least a couple grand. It was part of a huge production package my employer bought about 5 years ago (so it's at least that old - probably more like 7 - 9 years old). It works great, but it overkill for my current needs.

How much am I looking for? I honestly don't know. I'd like to sell it and replace it with something smaller and lighter, but if it's not worth more a couple hundred bucks I'll just end up keeping it.

I'll answer all PMs in a few minutes. I'll also entertain trades of lighter/smaller tripods, depending on what's being offered.

Sorry to be so vague about this, but I was told to see what it was worth and if I could sell it and replace it with a smaller tripod to go for it. So that's my ultimate goal - to end up with a tripod more ideal for a bare HPX170.

EDIT: PMs have been answered. I guess I'm looking for $1000 - $1500 for the head, if it's worth that. If it's worth less, I'll hold on to it. If anyone wants more pictures or video of the head in action let me know. I can have more Monday afternoon/evening. Thanks!

I believe it is. I had one user PM me that it's the first Ultimate 1030 head and that model has been revised several times in the last few years. I'll see if I can find some more info online about it and I'll post the links here (if there are any).
