Just seeing if anyone here would be interested in a beat to snot DVX100A. Here are the details
DVX100A with ~600 hours on it.
Comes with Adapter, regular battery, large Panasonic battery that only holds about 30 minutes worth of juice, and a UV Filter.
The issues:
- No audio - it will not record sound from the internal mic or the XLR inputs. I haven't tried dubbing with the RCA inputs, but I would assume they do not work either. This camera is for recording pictures only
- Image Stabilization Warning Message - There is a warning that comes up on the display relating to the stabilization system. The camera records video fine regardless of this.
- The plastic mount in front of the lens that mounts the lens hood and retains the manual focus ring was knocked off and epoxied back on. The lens hood still comes on and off, and manual focus works fine.
- The LCD does not work. The eye-level viewfinder works fine.
- A few small cracks on the body
Despite the issues, it still works great for recording video and could be used with an external recorder (make sure you slate!). If you're looking for a cheap DVX to use along with external sound, or just looking for a parts camera, fire me a message and we'll see what we can work out.
