i was hoping to get some constructive criticism on my idea. thanks.

a site for independent filmmakers to be able to have their own "movie page" for their upcoming movies. Like on their page, they have trailers, clips, etc. A plus would be that their trailer can be downloaded as a podcast on itunes. i would sell the movie too but am unsure how to sell movies on itunes and they usually dont have too much independent films. There is also a link for their official website. If they chose, the whole movie can be downloaded to itunes for free of course.

The benefits of this site is that it collects upcoming and released movies in one location. Movies that might otherwise not of been seen now can be viewed. The filmmaker chooses what will be on the site, helps in design, and can create a custom package that fits their needs and budget.

Okay, this is just a very rough sketch of my idea. I just wanted to see what others thought of this, and provide some feedback or concerns.

Would it be free to film makers and how much percentage you would get from a sale of a movie...

I think there are some other websites out there that does this, but sounds like a good idea, definitely alot of hardwork, good luck.

There would be a small fee but it depends on the budget of your film.

and how much percentage you would get from a sale of a movie...

the only way i know how to get things on itunes is through podcasts so i would not be able to sell anything. i have an idea but am still working it out. even if i did take a percent, it would be minimal.
