Marvin's estranged sons, Seth and Stanley, return home for a camping trip. As past grudges are exposed, their weekend getaway slowly unfurls.

loved the feel of the little clip, am also intrigued to know about Happy birthday rita, not heard anything about it for ages - really enjoyed the short - winter lilacs? i think it was called

Thanks Drew & ade4all. We are working on our release strategy for Rita. Hopefully it'll be online and free in the very near future. We're focused completely on Marvin Seth & Stanley at the moment, but could very well be releasing both films at the same time.

Panavision supplied us with an SR3 through their New Filmmaker program and a nice set of super speeds.

We shot a lot of sunny exteriors on Fuji 64D and Eterna 250D. Nights and interiors on Eterna 500.

Overall, the experience shooting s16 was wonderful. If and when there is a budget for it I think we'll always choose film.

We shot about 35,000 feet and cut great deals with both Fuji and Delden (a great lab in Minneapolis). I want to say before the HD scan we're at about $15k for stock, processing and dailies.

So far I've just done basic mixing and sound design in Final Cut. As soon as we lock picture we'll send the film off to a sound team for a proper mix.

We had a great one man sound team. I don't think we made it too easy for him in many situations, but he still managed to get consistently great recordings.

He used various mics, including Sennheiser 816 & Rode NTG-3. I believe the wireless mics were from the Lectrosonics 400 series with Lectrosonic lavs.
