Hey birdboy, one of your actors from Surviving the Rush worked on a film that I was a grip on, Young and Vulnerable Years (wasnt shot on a DVX though). Michael McKiddy. Small world, eh?

Just to keep the odd Michigan coincidences going, I have also worked with Michael McKiddy on a feature I Co-Directed, also shot in Detroit called "Secrets of Fenville," half of which was shot on DVX100's. http://www.fenvilletimes.com/ .

Also ironic is that I was fixing toilets at the Maple Art Theatre in West Bloomfield, MI while "Surviving the Rush" was shooting there. I also projected "Rush" at its premiere at the Main Art. I also used to work with Dave Frank, director of "Young and Vulnerable Years." Small world indeed!

I co-Directed a horror feature called "Dead/Undead" which used the DVX on some additional scenes (the camera hadn't been released before our main shoot in 2002.) http://www.deadundead.com

Others that I did not direct but were made by good friends of mine (all from Michigan, by the way):

"The Passage" (partially DVX - http://www.the-passage.com/) and "The Death of Micahel Smith" (fully DVX - http://www.myspace.com/deathofmichaelsmith) by Daniel Casey;

Koreatown (fully DVX - http://www.koreatownthemovie.com/) by Mike Kallio;

The Retreat (also featuring Mike McKiddy - fully DVX) by Matt Cantu;

Dirty Trousers (fully DVX - http://www.dirtytrousers.com/) by Dan Land and Thomas Horvath.

I was a DP on a feature that just wrapped production. It's called Vacancies and it was shot on the DVX100A and B. I'm currently editing the film.
