What's the best codec & size for web video (that would play quickly on the webpage?) using 'compressor' directly from FCP... Source is DVCPRO HD 1080/24pa (HPX500 footage)...
You may noticed that teaser on my website is too big and takes too long to start playing...
Help me... thanks,

Hi mate. Good that your out there and on the circuit, hope it goes well.

A good websize out of compressor that I find is

Export to H.264 - set frame size to 720x405 at high quality, and set to 800kbps streaming. Seems to hold up pretty well with a reasonably small file size. Its a good point to start from, you may need to boost the quality a fraction to get it the way you want, but try that first.

Sorry for the late reply.... Thanks "Noel Evans"

BTW, I'm leaving for LA (Well, Huntington Beach, to be exact) in 2 hours.

please come and see my film...
at Huntington Beach Public Library (7111 Talbert ave, Huntington Beach CA)

It was shot on HPX500 (with Pro35)
