Character 1:
Jon,20-26- Orson (main character)’s best friend, trying to help Orson through his sorrow and guilt.
Character 2:
Sara, 17-25ish-Clara (girlfriend)’s best friend, blames Orson for what happened to Clara, rather than taking responsibility herself. Party girl, questionable morals, a lot of her own problems.
Character 3:
Flower Saleswoman. Very small part. Orson buys flowers from her on the anniversary of their relationship. Age 25+
Character 4:
Jewlery Saleswoman. Very small part. Sells Orson the necklace he gives to Clara for an Anniversary present. Age 18+
Character 5:
Michelle—30+--older gal that Orson rebounds with in his despair. So far non-speaking, some nudity may be required.
Character 6 and 7:
Man and Woman at Diner: A couple, need woman and man, 25+. Having a discussion at a diner about suicide that makes Orson very angry and an argument ensues. One scene.
Non-speaking parts:
Brad – Abusive boy friend to Clara. Mostly physical role, a line or two of dialogue maybe, but mostly physical. Appears in flashbacks being abusive to Clara, and loses in a fight to Orson when Orson is overcome with rage.
Scotty – Another one of Clara’s ex-boyfriends who took advantage of her at a young age. Appears in 2 short scenes, non-speaking.
3 Jerks – For lack of a better term. 3 sketchy looking boys who just have to pose for mugshots in a scene. One very short scene, just need guys who know how to look cocky, jerky and disgusting.
