GH2 FCPX doesn't import large MTS from Hacked GH2

I am importing some footage from a recent vacation. All of the footage imported except a very large / long time lapse clip on a train from Bangkok to southern Thailand. I know I can just convert it to a usable format for FC but I would like to know if there is a way to get it to accept these larger files for future reference. I appreciate you all!

Have you tried ClipWrap? I think that stitches spanned clips together, but I don't use it so I'm not absolutely sure on that.

Is the hack I-frame only? Clipwrap will restore lost time code on those. When in doubt, use Flow Motion - I've never had any kind of failure with it.

Clipwrap worked. Thanks! Does anyone happen to know why clips like that are unacceptable files for FCP?

This is a murky area. The short answer is no. I-frame patches generally scramble time code. Longer GOP patches do not.
