FCp to QT .mov doesnt work

every time I do a fcp qt coversion and burn to a disk it plays super choppy on other computers, what is this all about?

I have burned to both cd and dvd and experienced difficulty. It feels like it is a problem on my end is it something with the settings. I have QT pro and the computers I am having problems w/ don't could that be it?
 
Is the data rate on the video higher than the read speed on the cd/dvd drive? Also what codec/settings are you using on the qt movies?
