FCP / PhotoShop ??

I want to import a logo into a FCP project I have created the logo in Photoshop ( transparent ) how should the logo be saved so that it can be used in FCP without any boarders , I want to keep the logo with no background

Create an alpha channel that contains the logo and export as tiff or I believe png.

Any format that supports an alpha channel.

will saving it as a pdf work

I don't think FCP can import a pdf. I could be wrong though. I've never tried.
Save as a png 24 with transparency checked or just import your .psd file and it will keep all layers intact.
