Avid Xpress Pro with Mojo, of course. All the real-time processing, color correction tools and solid workflow make this the best. There's a reason why 90% of the industry STILL cuts on Avid systems.

And that's one reporter's opinion. :)

I say go with both... you need to know both these days anyways. Also, it depends on what you want to do... DV based editing or SD, HD, etc. You get way more for your money with FCP in that regard.
