FCP Multi Channel Audio?

Hello everyone,

I just shot some footage using two external mics via the AF100's XLR inputs. When transferred into FCP 7 I only have two audio channels (rather than the four I was used to on my HPX170). Is this standard with the AF100? Or am I missing the boat here with a simple setting in log & transfer?

Any feedback would be appreciated!

yep, that's how it works. 2 channels with avchd. 4 channels with dvcprohd. However on the 200/170 tracks 3 and 4 were always the onboard mic. Comforting in a last resort backup kindof way, but other than that, pretty useless.
