FCP Log & Transfer w/ HVX200 - Help

I've set the device on my camera to USB. The device connects once I open the log and transfer window and my clips show up in the window. But I try to add my clips to the queue and the circle with the arrows starts spinning. Then it turns into a red exclamation point and says error. I cannot transfer my clips, anyone have any suggestions?
 
Could you provide what Mac you are using with what version of FCP?

And what did you shoot in the HVX200 including frame rate and size.

What OS version? Do you have an older version of FXFactory installed or Perian installed?

And what have you set in the L/T preferences?

Finally, did you write protect the p2 cards before mounting them?
 
On a Mac, you're supposed to use firewire, not USB. Consult the camera manual to change it to firewire.
 
I'd backup first. Backup the footage to an archive drive, THEN import. You can be USB or Firewire then. And USB does work on a Mac...I have done it often. Best when the drive you are importing to is firewire.
