FCP/FCE - Trial versions???

I've searched to the best of my ability but don't seem to be able to find trial versions of either FCP or FCE. Do they exist?

If anybody can easily point me to them I'd be very appreciative

If I 've missed something obvious then feel free to ignore and carry on with your life rather than waste more of it by flaming me.

Cheers

Nope, no trial versions.

I will continue with my life and not flame you unless you start trolling and ranting about how unfair it is... which you no doubt won't - I've seen your other posts.

It's called the Apple Store. There's probably one near you. If not, check it out on your next trip to a big city. :)

I think there is a tiny one a few suburbs away (it's never been open when I've been there.)

Good idea! I'm off to Sydney in two days and that's the biggest city we have down this way. Will make time to drop into the apple store there.

You know...

YES!! All those pro macs they have in their stores... they ALL have FCP and Shake and all sorts of cool things usually (USUALLY) loaded on them. Usually with a few clips too.

Or... let me know next time you're in Dayton OH (God forbid!) and I'll take you for a spin.

If it isn't too much of a drive to the nearest Apple Store, look into a One to One Membership.

At least hear in the states it costs abot $100 and you can go in once a week for a group training session or "One-to-One" session. If you go ever week it will cost you about $2 a session, and at that price it is really hard to beat.

If you're wondering about FCP or FCE this is probably the best way to test out the water and get introduced to the software. If you don't like it, then you're out $100 instead of $3,000 for a new mac and FCS.
