FCP Capture Now interlacing

Hey guys, I'm trying to capture DVCPRO50 24p direct via firewire to a FCP 5.1 setup, and it's working fine except for I'm getting pretty nasty interlacing. If I do 24pA, I can Remove Advanced Pulldown and be fine, but what do I do for normal 24p?
 
If you do 24p normal and wish to edit in a 23.98 timeline, you must remove the pulldown with Cinema Tools. Otherwise, edit 24p normal in a 29.97 timeline. You can remove advanced pulldown upon P2 ingest in FCP 5.1 or by invoking remove advanced pulldown within FCP. You could also send 24pA to Cinema Tools, but there is little reason for that.
