FCP 7 with GH2 & HMC Footage

Has FCP 7 shown any issues with editing footage from the GH2 or either of the HMC cameras (40 or 150)... I am asking simply because I have been using Canon SLRs and am about to make the switch and want to be ready for any surprises...

As to the HMC 40 and 150, conversion to pro res 422 or pro res LT works well.

Can I ask, as there has been some scaremongering about this from CS5 users, how long does it take for FCP to ingest a 16Gb card into Prores 422 (HQ) please? Is it "ages" as they say, or 5 mins, or what?
 
Of course, it depends on the speed of your computer, but no it isn't ages.

As to the exact time, that would depend on the length of the movies. Remember, copying a 16GB card via USB2 does take some time, so transcoding from it will be longer than copying the card contents and ingesting from there.
