FCP 6 academic

I had a feeling that I wouldn't be able to. I guess I'm going to see if I can buy FCP6 off someone then buy the upgrade, hopefully it'll save me money along the lines.

You dont have to buy FCP6 save some $$$ and Just buy an old version of Final Cut Pro or the Production Bundle and then upgrade... Just make sure the old version is full retail.

If you know anyone who has FCP for sale or will lend me the cd's so I can do the upgrade let me know. I just got back from the apple store and I have the upgrade now all I need is a version other then the academic version. I'll send you my FCP7 upgrade if anyone wants to help me out.

Just bought FCP 5.0.1 for $200 dollars off a guy on craigslist.

I installed it onto my MBP, it removed my version of FCP that had color, when I install the upgrade will it give me color?

No I had the academic version of FCP. I don't feel like having to spend 899.99 for FCP 7 when I can very well pay 299.99 for the upgrade.

In return I would have lent you my FCP7 upgrade, which I have by the way.

How ever I already bought FCP but its 5.0.1 will this be able to be upgraded to FCP7?
