FCP 6.06 not seeing Canon EOS footage (7d)

Watched and read all the tutorials. Installed plugin, restarted computer, but log and transfer won't accept my footage. Tried reading right off the card reader and also creating a duplicate directory structure off an external drive, still no luck. I tried re-installing the plug-in, no dice. It gives me the "unsupported media or invalid directory structure" warning. Also, there is no "Canon" option in the preferences tab in log an transfer.

I am on FCP 6.06 using footage from the Canon 7d on a MacBook Pro running 10.4.11

The plugin I'm using is:
EOS MOVIE Plugin-E1 for Final Cut Pro
ce1100x.dmg.zip

The pdf I link states that it is only compatible with 10.6.2 or later.

Glad it is working in 10.5.

Wonder if Leopard is necessary

My only reason for not upgrading to 10.5 or 10.6 was to keep my dual adapter around. I heard it doesnt work with the new operating systems?

@OP - Upgrade to 10.5 Leopard, Duel fails with 10.6.0 - 10.6.3 Snow Leopard due to lack of PCMCIA Support as apple did not expect any of their computers running 10.6 Leopard to have PCMCIA controllers (which Duel Adapter is)

So Leopard is OKAY, and the RADPlug for Canon does not work in 10.4 or PowerPC but does function in Leopard Intel 10.5.4 and higher.
