I'm trying to get my 1280x720 60P AVCHD clips through log and transfer, but I'm wondering if I have my FCP video/audio setting set correctly to work with smooth imported footage.
Here is what my settings screen looks like... is this correct?
Sorry I was unaware that when I took that screen capture my sequence timeline setting was set at DVCPRO HD - 720p24... It is really at DVCPRO HD - 720p60
Well I haven't seem to have gotten any feed back from any other forum either, but I've changed my settings again. As of now my timeline setting is set at HDV - 720p60 and my capture settings are set as Apple Intermediate Codec.
From what I understand since I shoot mainly for web streaming viewing (youtube/vimeo), I always shoot in SHD 1280x720p60. From what I understand ProRes442 makes huge files and is too much for my iMac to handle smoothly, so I capture in AIC which is a little step down from ProResLT, but is still decent for capture footage for web presentation.
My real question now is should my timeline settings be HDV 720p60 or DVCHD 720p60? or should it really be something else?
