"FBI" Short Film (Violence)

Well, I know where you are coming from. I am 14 right now and I got into film about a year ago. Honestly, It was alright....not great, but alright. If you had different actors that DEFINETLY would have helped. Also, the dialogue was a bit weird. (It didnt always make sense)

What got me the most was that the format of your video kept on changing. It would go from 16:9 to 4:3 in different scenes. I don't know if that was just a compression issue but it kind of took away from the film.

I don't mean to come down hard and trust me that is what my first short little films looked like. But, the biggest tip of advice I learned is to ask yourself 3 questions when making a film.

1) Why are you making this?
2)What story are you trying to tell to your audience?
3)how do you want your audience to feel?

Keep trying! The only way to learn how to make films, is to make a film. So keep it up and try and make every film you do better than the last one.

Thanks, sorry about the aspect ratios, this wasn't really supposed to be a film that was worth serious effort, just a fun one to learn the editing program and film techniques. The reason why this happened was, see how all the footage has some cool film look to it? I exported each clip from after effects to premier and did all sound and video edit cuts etc in premier, so every shot was done in after effects, well I had worked on it then took a 1 month break. Little did I know I was doing in 4:3 (or 16:9) then when I came back I switched the ratios without noticing.

Thanks for the feedback.
