The Simple Life.....'nuff said.

Just kidding. ;D

24 is deffinetley my favorite narrative, I would certainly say I watch it religously. 24 (which might I add is edited on FCP along with Scrubs) shares the top of my list with nearly every show on the Discovery and History channel. Just thought I'd chime in.

Re: Favorite TV shows

You're right that Scrubs, my current favorite sitcom and one of the funniest damn shows ever:D, is cut on FCP (saw the article on the Apple site), but 24, at least as of season one, was being cut on Avid (http://www.avid.com/profiles/020517_24_unitymedianet.asp)

There's an article on the Apple site about 24's DP Rodney Charters, who uses FCP to view dailies and color-correct them as a reference for the on-line colorist, but no mention that the show had switched from Avid to FCP. Would be cool if they did. I love seeing FCP making inroads into the still very Avid-centric Hollywood post-production environment, and I'm sure that as the program matures and adds more features, it'll become an increasingly attractive option over comparatively pricey Avid online systems.

Re: Favorite TV shows

::) Oops. I think that you're right about that. There was also a great article about the Scrubs editing in the Nov. 2003 issue of Editors Guild Magazine. I was drooling over their editing set up. Anyway, both are great shows.

Re: Favorite TV shows

My favorite TV show in recent years has to be The Office. Ricky Gervais and Steve Merchant are brilliant. It's worth renting on DVD if you don't have BBC on your cable system.
