favorite Scene file settings

Hi, I have been messing more and more with my scene files settings and its just so crazy how many different types of looks you can get with it. I have mostly been messing with the gamma, detail and master pedestal settings though.

I want more settings to play with and everyone on here seems to have some of the best looking stuff I have seen come out of this cam.

I was just wondering what scene file settings are your favorites? If you guys don't mind sharing.

I have one scene file for interior shots and one for exterior shots. The interior file has a slightly higher pedistal, around +3, mainly because it's darker inside and I want to preserve some detail in the shadows. I also keep the chroma level down for interior shots for artistic reasons. As far as the gamma go, I use cine like (not D or V) and I have the cine matrix set to Norm. I read somewhere that this reduces some noise in low light.
For exterior shots I have the pedistal set to -5, chroma level around +5 (for more intense colors and contrast). No change to the gamma or the matrix.

Usually I'll shoot with everything at zero, cinelike, and master ped down around -7, depending on the lighting situation. I'll adjust from there, but I prefer it pretty flat for post.

But, it also depends on the shot.

thanks a lot for the replies guys. I usually tend to keep my master ped to about -6 or -7 but i even played around with -15 at night while filming traffic in a moving car, they came out pretty cool looking. Eyebite, great thread! I'll definitely play around with those same settings as well. well, off to do more tests.
