David,
You don't have an original Casablanca, do you?
If so I am jealous. I am something of a collector...
but that is the holy grail. I almost bought an original
Polish version a couple of years back, but decided to
wait for a Swedish or French one.

Hanging on the CallaghanFilms office wall:
(all originals)
-German Version: Raiders of the Lost Ark/Jäger des Verlorenen Schatzes
(1 and 1/2 sheet)
-That's Entertainment (Insert)
-Braveheart (1 sheet)
-Jaws (Insert)
-Blade Runner (Insert)
-Darby O'Gill and the Little People (1 and 1/2 sheet)
-Clash of the Titans (Insert)

and on deck to be framed (when I stop procrastinating)
-Rear Window (British Quad)
-Italian Version: The Godfather/il Padrino (European 1 sheet)

You sound like my brother... he absolutely lost his mind though... in his basement there are like 8 movie posters up, and he even bought one of those racks with the clear vinyl inserts... then you can "flap through the rest".

Be careful 'cause it may bleed into collecting production stills. He's got close to a hundred of those up too.

It's entirely for nostalgia though... he could care less about video production!

For a corporate setting, I wouldn't pick favorites, I'd pick ones the public wouldn't have to think about.

Ones like "Gone With The Wind" and so forth.

Boring, I know. But you don't want folks wondering why "A Clockwork Orange" is hanging there.

My favorites are the old B-movie posters from the 50s and 60s, especially the nuclear-mutant flicks.

Them!
Attack of the 50' Woman
Day the Earth Stood Still
Plan 9 fro Outer Space (a classic!)
Tarantula

So many more!

I watched that movie a month or two ago... watch it again. That's all I'm saying about it.

Somebody should remake THAT... why is it that all the great movies are being remade? Remake something that could have been good.

I just got really excited about movie posters reading this post. And I just blew $100 at allposters.com

So what did you pick up? Details, I need details...

Okay so I thought I would let you know what I tired to pick. I wanted something that most people have never heard of and something that fit my personality style. Though the poster is not the greatest the movie fit so I picked Watership Down. But wouldn’t you guess it that the place they are ordering from does not carry it. Oh well.
