Hi all, long time since I've visited this forum or read up on what's new. Could I ask someone to give me a quick update on the state of the art for HDSLR? Specifically I am looking for opinions on cameras with Autofocus and how does Nikon stack up to the competition?
I shoot with Canon 7D and HVX200. Focusing with 7D has been challenging, yes, but doable. My friend is being told that Nikon has autofocus and he wants that so he can shoot himself at home with no operator (!!!!) I'm trying to convince him he needs a DP/operator to get proper results but he has his agenda.
So what's the skinny on Nikon with autofocus vs. Canon? Any consensus? How about articles comparing?
