[Alex H.]

A legend, gone at 88.

I was lucky enough to see him in concert twice, one of those a shared bill with Ralph Stanley.

Ohhhh - I´m a big Bluegrass fan and even play some mandolin myself - this is a sad day.

Along with Lester Flatt (and Bill Monroe), he was one of the most pioneering names in Bluegrass, ever. He basically changed music, and will be forever remembered. RIP Earl.
