Does anyone here have a league?

I'm thinking about starting one on espn.com
We should have a DVXuser Football League.

anyone here want to help me start one?
 
Do you really need help starting one? The Yahoo! FFL leagues are pretty simple to administer. I'm not volunteering, but if someone gets one going, I'll play.
 
i'd be up for that as well.... my league was supposed to draft tonight on yahoo, and the last team hadn't signed up yet. by the time it was draft time Yahoo locked us out of the time slot so i had to reschedule and i was all primed to draft tonight :crybaby:

but they said Fantasy football is dungeouns and dragons for the jocks who made fun of the nerds who played it in school. kind of ironic :P
 
That may be the case, but trust me when I tell you that I never played football in high school, nor did I get made fun of by "jocks". But then again I didn't go to school in a "Diff'rent Strokes" Episode either.

Fantasy sports to me is a way to make a meaningless game have some sort of meaning.
 
thats cool, i was just quoting a comedian, my co worker is dying to get me in his league. I bet to make meaningless games interesting. does wonders

try using a www.palary.org browser, its a browser in a browser, should get around all firewalls. Its like remote surfing, doesnt store any cookies or anything on the computer you are using it on. Obviously wont be able to do some more advanced surfing, but its actually quite compatible.

Hey! Count me in if its not filled up!!!

My buddy has turned me on to Fantasy Sports! I am wrapping up Fantasy Baseball right now and am in his Fantasy Football league. So, if you're league is full.... I can bow out. BUT if there is room, I'd love to come and play!!!

PS -Cynic821... nice job kicking the Red Sox butt this past week! OUCH! I am a former A's fan having been raised in that area but have converted to a Sox Fan in the 15 years. Yeah, yeah... I don't even know WHY I brought it up!
 
Booooo!!! Ya, the Red Sox are free wins right now, woulda sucked losing to them while everyone is giving them a beating. I wont get into it though. Just glad Zito is back to form, and all that other fun stuff. I can see Fantasy Football, but baseball?!?! thats just too long of a season!

Raiders have already won us a decent chunk of change so far in the pre season. I take my pics perfectly. Baseball is like playing bingo when betting, but football is locked up, and personally, with The George back in town, and if mr overrated brooks doesnt start, and Walter gets the nod, i dont see our team being too bad. Jordan looks decent, Walter is looking good, Moss is just Moss, Porter is back on the team, Gallery got a position change. Its gunna be a good year if we axe Brooks. And the Pats, dont get me started, you do realize if it wasnt for the snow bowl, that those 3 Superbowl wins would be the raiders, our dynasty would be just ending now. Im pissed now! put me in a bad mood reminding me about that!

Hey Cynic821... sorry for touching that sore spot! I am one of those rare sports fan (I think) that enjoys routing for a particular team but can appreciate the talents of others. And I know, I KNOW that the call during the Snowbowl was a joke. (Oviously it was favorable for the team I was routing for and will take it any day.) I won't say anymore on this subject becuase there are many arguements about that game. I just wish that these ref's woudn't make themselves a part of the game. They do it all the time. Pisses me off. Sorry to open the wound. Close back up.... Close back up.

I love the passion you have for your Raiders. I was only teasing. Just having fun! I am anxious to see how George does!

And Yep! Those Sox sux right now. Ugh! But I still have my A's cap. Great memories from my childhood. I went to many games as a kid.

Okay... now, let's PLAY SOME FOOTBALL!!!
