Fantastic Contraption

so has terry lasater posted any of his contraptions yet? the man that brought this upon us should have something to show.
 
Handling was just about the hardest one, aside from Tube, which I'm still working out. I had to keep adjusting the braking tether, because of the elasticity. And if that wasn't nerve racking enough, I had it so that the block was within the goal I don't know how many times, and it was just cocked enough that it wouldn't give me the point.

Anybody beat tube yet?
 
Thanks Simon, I stole your design :) Actually, I started off with something very similar, but just couldn't get it to grab.
 
Hehe, yeah.. I had the same problem and already gave up. then I tried again and it just came to me. I felt so stupid after I saw how easy it was.

I'm on a job in Tejas as of late. Honestly, I haven't even done one puzzle. I stumbled onto the site and thought there might be some peeps here who would dig it. I thought it would get a few replies and sink into oblivion. I'm glad to see you guys are enjoying it. I've checked some of the links to your solutions and I'm amazed and humbled. :thumbsup:
