I have been reading about the Fancier FC-270A tripod for a while now and wanted to see for myself how good it is. For $149 bucks it's pretty dang impressive but not perfect. Thanks, Erik. Great review. I guess you already bought the Manfrotto head, because had you not, it would have been a great opportunity for you to review the Benro S6 - and I would've certainly been very interested in your take.

Yes. I bought the new 502 Manfrotto last week and it arrived yesterday. It's nice and for the limited time I had to play with it I like it. Seems to be a good fit for my sliders. I already have a Manfrotto 75mm and 100mm half ball so it's pretty versatile for my needs. Maybe after using for a while I will do a review of it as well. Thanks for the feedback!
