Got all sort of weather on my stay there. Sunny, cloudy, rainy and even some snow! Shot mostly handheld while hiking with a few glidecam shots and a borrowed tripod for some of the timelapse sequences.

Thanks for watching. Comments welcome.

Very nice footage! Maine and just north of the Canada border is high on my list of places I want to go shoot scenery. Only comment is that some of the shots seem a bit dark. Maybe the blacks are crushed just a bit too much?

Loved the shot @ :36-:39! That slow-mo sequence of the water spilling over the rock looked pretty darn smooth for having been shot at 24p.

Great stuff... as for the blacks, what did you have the master ped set at for these shots and what scene file?

Thanks for the comments guys. The blacks are probably a little too crushed from overzealous level adjustments. The original footage was much flatter. I can't remember exactly what scene file I used as I mess with them a lot. :) I think I do remember using B Press gamma though.

I'll try to post some ungraded stills later.

Thanks!

I agree with the guy above, that shot at :36 with the leaves on pavement really caught my eye.

Great stuff, buddy.

Yeah well, wish I could take credit for that shot but my camera was borrowed by my brother and he got that one. :) Rest are mine though.

My bad, that was actually shot at 60fps. Looking back at the footage last night, I forgot that I shot at other framerates as well. Most of it was shot at 1080-24p, but there were some 720-60p and even some 720-24p in there.

Ungraded stills added to the vimeo page.
