Here's my first edit of my fall demo reel. Looking for comments and feedback. The footage was all shot on the DVX.

After watching other people's demo reels I feel that mine may lacking in the variety of shots department, but I'm not really sure. Honest feedback appreciated.

Sorry, we do not have permission to watch the video!

Thanks Papa, fixed.

edit: Be kind to my Glidecam shots ok? They are all vestless...
On that note, I have my first paying gig of Glidecam work on Monday, and I'm practicing with a vest for the first time tomorrow. Pretty excited I must say.

looks very good man.

Sorry to disapoint you but there is very little to nothing wrong with your glidecam shots, haha, they are very well executed considering the amount of weight you are dealing with on your sled. It does get much smoother than that. Very well done!

Howcome some of your footage is stretched? Also, do you chose to shoot a lot of your stuff non 24p?

Thanks for compliments Papa, means a lot coming from you.

The footage just got stretched in the ffmpegx program I used. It stretched it to 16x9 by default, and I wasn't too worried about it. I figured I'd be having to tweak the demo reel at some point for my 2nd draft then I'd be a little bit more picky.

Some of the footage was actually shot on the camera before the DVX, the DVC130 or something, which was used for our final project at school. Everything else was 24P, as far as I know. How could you tell?
