OTHER: Fake Trailer For Hobo With A Shotgun Contest

This was a trailer I threw together for the Hobo With A Shotgun Trailer Contest. I decided out of the blue that I wanted to do this (like I felt compelled for some reason to do this despite it not being my mo to shoot unprepared) - came up with a concept then committed to doing it - despite being less than a week before the contest was over and having no cast, locations or crew set 2 days out of when I needed to go to camera. Suffice to say stuff worked out. We threw out a craigslist casting call and happened to get a few responses. Basically anyone that contacted us we tried to use in the film. Shot it on a little Canon HFS20 Camcorder. Had no crew except my buddy Ian. Pretty happy how it turned out but wished I had more time to make it way grittier and have more grindhouse style action and gore. Shot it over this past weekend, edited from Monday to Thursday and then submitted. Thanks for checking it out.

A slight surprise today as Jason Eisner, the director of Hobo With A Shotgun posted a link to the rest of their favorite submissions and lo and behold we were at the top of the list!

So though we didn't make Top 5 we came close - which we'll take as a moral victory!! (they had over 100 entries)
