Fake ad made with the skill35

The compression was kinda bad, but I think the editing was really good on this. It seemed really tight and professional looking. The skill 35 looks pretty good, but I'd have to see a better compressed version to be sure. Good spec commercial all around though.

Yeah bad compression.. loved the last guy. So out of place almost spilt my beer as I laughed.

also tooo much drinking shots for the ad... generally they dont over do the drinking for 'beverage drink' take a look at any alcoholic advert, or even soft drink like coke. this is true for the southern hemisphere..... same where u are?
also adverts here are no longer than 30sec.

ow ****, haha... i spoke too soon! very funny!, didnt look at that ending.
i take that last post back, not applicable.

I think we should avoid making comments about compression. It seems like compression is always an issue with youtube, youaretv, stickypod, ifilm, google, myspace, etc.

Thanks for the comments, I'll try to upload a better version of the ad soon & some pics of the adaptor.

vignette was terrible. throw that adapter in the trash. editing was great.

Maybe he did it on purpose?

I absolutely love this spec! The music was so perfect for it. Would you mind sharing what song it is? Thanks!

Yes there's a lot of vignette but it really depends on the lens we use. I like the look of the vignette especially in this case but if a project comes that doesn't "need" it, there will be a problem.
(For the music : sergio mendes, timeless, timeless.)
Thanks for your comments?
I'll upload some pics of the adaptor soon

That was great! I liked the dolly shots. Sort of lends a more professional air to the spot. The you tube version didn't do your spot justice. The second one was great to see. You should do another fake ad without the skill 35 and set it up so you can still get the dof effects just with your dvx. It would be sharper and no vignetting. And do it without the humor for your showreel! You might be able to get a job for a smaller company.
