Faith based feature film "Class of '91" in pre production

Thanks for the kind words. I wore many hats during the making of the movie at various times, including camera operator, DP, sound mixer, gaffer, editor, color correction, etc. I also scored the movie with a combination of stock music and original. I wrote these two songs and had Nashville pros work them up (the movie has a get of of credit card debt theme):

"Credit Card Blues"

"Ultimate Plasectomy" (term for destroying credit cards, as in plastic surgery)

that's fantastic; you work like me -- I think it's the only way to work as an artist -- collaboration is a different form of filmmaking.

wishing you continued success

Good luck with you're premiere tomorrow! I went checking in our local paper for the listing to my premiere on Sunday and and saw that yours is playing here in Spokane at a Presbyterian church. Although I'm not presbyterian, I'm thinking about checking it out =)

Thanks El Director, it's quite an experiment, giving out a DVD to to any church that wants it to premier the movie, but the way we look at it, we only have to sell 15 or so to break even on DVD cost and postage. Out of 50 churches showing it TONIGHT to hopefully thousands of people, that should be easy enough.(each has been asked to take orders for the DVD). Add to that the general exposure value and we think it may be a model that works - but time will tell.

There were about 20 people at the church I saw it at. People generally seemed to like it and the pastor dude did mention that the DVD could be bought. (Whether anyone did, I don't know)

Attendance at the other two churches I have learned about was about 100 and 150, with about 12 dvd's sold at the first, don't know about the second yet. Still waiting for the returns to come in.

Thanks for the encouragement! Class of 91 is now available on DVD at the website, www.classof91movie.com . The distributor will release the movie May 7 in Christian bookstores. Also, we are in talks with a new 24 hour faith based movie channel to air the movie.

Glad to announce that "Class of '91" has been sold to the previously mentioned satellite network with a 5 year contract. Proceeds will nearly pay for the production of the film, and we get two minutes to promote DVD sales during each airing of the movie.
