Fading titles without fading the video under...

[reahlert]

Hey y'all:
Disclaimer: I am a Vegas beginner.

1-How do I fade only the title text, for a smooth in and out of the title, while the video underneath remains static? I've got the fade to color in use, but it fades everything, even though i put the envelope on only the text track?

thanks in advance to anyone that replies

Go up to the corner of the text clip until the cursor gives you a little quarter-pie icon. Then, hold in the mouse button and drag the fade envelope.

The manual is online:

Vegas is pretty intuitive, but it's worth flipping through.

And don't forget the unbelieveably thorough "Help" function.

Who needs the help menu or manual when you have DVXuser.com?

You can always call up the master bus and fade an entire timeline too, should you need to.
