Fader Filter For Video/GH1/GH2 Cameras

I've been looking at the Genus (on the affordable end), and the Fader Filters HD Variable Neutral Density Filter (on a higher end: I can't afford anything above that). Any opinions or comments from users of these Faders are appreciated. Most reviews I found are divided and inconclusive.

Might cut down on natural skin tones according to some. I have some on order and look forward to trying. It should be great for opening up the iris on sunny days.
