factory reset

I just bought a used dvx100a (even got barry's book and dvd. soooo helpful) and i would like to make sure all the settings are set to factory defaults. I looked over the manual and cannot find anything about how to do it. Anyone know how to do this?

Look under the LCD. There should be a very small Reset button there.

Ok, so i found a small paragraph about the reset button. It says NOT to use it if the camera is working properly. Also says it will not erase menu values and memory contents?
