Facebook Hack?

The website takes me to myspace...

No matter what I do, it's set as my homepage and it brings me to myspace.

Anyone having this problem?

I'm on a Mac.

Which browser are you using? Have you tried clearing all your private data (cookies, history, etc.) and relaunching?
 
sounds like you might have gotten a trojan/virus or whatever where it re-directs certain urls to another url.

It's likely local to your computer. you'll have to do some googling to see what you can see in order to fix it...

i've seen people who had google going to yahoo back in the day... I fixed it for someone once, but it was too long ago to begin to remember how

Please help.

I just reset Safari and all it's history and cookies. I go to facebook and it brings me to Myspace.

I downloaded Mozilla and it's doing the same thing. I JUST bought this mac book pro laptop to and facebook has been fine, but all of a sudden its doing this.

I'm at a resort in Minnesota, and when I go to my finder, I can see like 6 different labels under SHARED. Is this other people using laptops as well?

I'm using the lodges internet also.

Here's steps to stop any type of sharing incase you have it enabled:

Go to the Apple Menu > System Preferences > Sharing.
Uncheck all options under the Services tab. This will stop your computer from sharing any file.

I think macscan lets you download a free trial which could help if the laptop is infected. Hope this helps.

This actually seems to be a common thing if you google it, seems like it happens on windows and macs and you have to flush your dns to solve the problem.
 
Nathin. Getting into the dating, and now unfortunately, getting out.

Have a short film, but i'm putting it on hold as I'm getting into the editing for my fishing show called Extreme Angler.

So yea. I'd do thrill fest but I want to concentrate on my film I have now, which Matius Caruso wrote! So you know it's gotta be a good story ;)
