A acquaintance of mine was expressing her feelings on facebook....But be careful what you say because you never know who's going to read it......I used to work at this indie theatre so this is all that more funny to me.:)

...

Which came first?

I'm guessing that one, hahah, the one i posted literally just happened.
I think it's funny how these people can forget that they add their bosses. What's funny is those almost identical....i'm wondering if he based his response off of this.

Which is exactly why I never added my old boss...and probably why my staff didn't add me.

I just saw your post and I was thinking "my god - I just saw that somewhere". Went over to Digg (since that's where I usually find all these weird things) and tada - the other one appeared.

Weird stuff.

Either way, too funny!

Anything said on the net is completely public, and count on everyone you know/used to know to read what you write.

There's the old saying about pens and company ink, goes just as true for mice and, and, um, company toner? Okay I couldn't finish the analogy, but you get the idea.

I'm sorry but those two are ridiculously similar. I'm gonna call shenanigans on one of them.... unless prissy females are that similar and as are wanky/creepy bosses.

Way to much in common. Shenanigans!

What exactly is a Shenanigans, Ryan? Is that something Irish?
Yeah, those two posts sound way to similar. Maybe it was staged by the later party on facebook as a homage - theatrics lets say for your online enteratainment - is that a Shenanigan?

I add everybody on my facebook account - which is why I never post anything.

Etymology

Uncertain in origin. These have been suggested:

Noun

shenanigan (plural shenanigans)

  1. Trickery, games; skulduggery. To "call", "claim" or "declare" shenanigans is to rhetorically and ironically label something as officially deceitful, improper, or otherwise incorrect. "The advertisement said it would cost $50 but they charged me $75 at the register. I declare shenanigans." The speaker passes off the statement as having some sort of implied official effect, but in reality, it is simply a complaint.
  2. A deceitful confidence trick, or mischief causing discomfort or annoyance.
  3. Mischievous play, especially by children. You should learn to spot their shenanigans and avoid being fooled.
Yeah. It's basically spotting (and calling out) something or someone that may be out to fool you or not be truthful. I'm not saying that he (the thread poster) is being purposefully deceitful, but I think perhaps his friend and boss are playing a nice game on everyone else by staging an American remake of the British Girl and Wanky boss scenario.

It's more a FAKE than a FAIL. Definite shenanigans. :)

Any one with Photoshop and five minutes of free time can create stuff like this.

It's a fake. I don't understand why anybody would add their boss on FB...especially after only being there two weeks (on the first one). the second one...way too similar.

But the thought of this really happening....is funny!!

Word from the source is your right........ugh i feel so cheated.

that aint ignorance... that's creative quitting. Surely nobody is dumb enough to that otherwise.

It's like an internet meme.

Lolcats, demotivational posters, all of that was generated from one idea. The one I posted appeared on digg several days ago, which means it existed before that. So all it is is propagation of an internet meme.

It doesn't have anything to do with people being stupid or ignorant or dumb.
