F900 Component Signal Specs

Hey Mike, I did some reading a while ago when I was trying to work out how those Miranda converters worked.
The F900 and F950 were based on SMPTE 274M standard and you can read about it here:

Component YCbCr is analog so no bits, no compression, only voltage modulation.

Got it. so is the signal going out the back to the miranda box just that YCbCr signal which is then wrapped into an HD-SDI signal with audio, etc or is the video signal coming out the back port different?

I think that was the miranda function back then- digitize/serialize the analog signal and embed audio....
