f8 limitation on AF lenses??

I recall that with the D90, the camera would not set an aperture smaller than f8.

Does this limitaton live on with any of the more recent video-enabled Nikons?

sounds fishy to me too... had two d90's and shot @ f16 on the regular.

It's pretty well known, if you look back at forum postings in 2008. You can do it with the aperture ring, but not with the wheel. It says f16 but it's really f8, on the D90. If the lens has no aperture ring, you're stuck at f8. And it's a pain to use the aperture because when you come out of LV, you get an error message.
