Would love to know how loud the fan gets when shooting 4K RAW. If it kicks on automatically, etc.
What's the weight of the axs-r5 and the evf and the battery as well as the lenses?
I have to wait till after thursday to write about it. And sadly, tom Wong, out colorist, is unavailable to grade the footage. So i will have to figure out how to grade this stuff.
Uuups! Red light aroun my head.....I tald there is support for the RAW files already! Did you try to export DPX fro the viewer?

Its Airy feeling, its light, but its bigger than an Epic, so the weight is similar, but its more spread out. The Epic is denser, and about half its length. So while they feel the same in terms of weight, the F55 has a "lighter" feel. Its balance is good.
See now my wife always gets bent out of shape when she comes home to see a camera on her dining room table.
Honey it's a $90K Alexa I just rented for a shoot tomorrow and I'm going through the menu.... Well that's my dining room table and if you don't move that camera you will be dining from the Burger King menu!
Actually it weighs several pounds less than the EPIC. The EPIC also generally requires a bunch of accessory items mounted to it in order to function, which is not the case with the F55. This further effects the weight comparison. I was out on the street today shooting with the F55, 4K recorder, large battery, and a compact zoom lens all on a handheld rig, and it was extremely lightweight and comfortable.
