F5: F5 vs the F55

I know the technical differences between the F5 anf F55 but has anyone compared subjective image quality? Nothing technical (4K, Colour Gamut, global shutter), just how good the images look.

I may buy an F5 tomorrow, just want to make sure it isn't streets behind the F55.

That's a very subjective question. I think the global shutter is a pretty significant determinant of look. No skewing. That's very big. I perceive much fuller color with the expanded color gamut of the F55. I personally consider the F55 far ahead of the F5. Of course, I'm great at spending other people's money. I think you really have to determine what is acceptable for you. The great thing is that you can't make a wrong decision-- both F5 and F55 produce great images. It is a matter of your own perception.

I almost bought the F5 but went for the F55 mainly due to 10-bit 4k XAVC. I wasn't so much counting on the s-gamut or global shutter but now that I see what this little devil is doing I have no regrets.
