F5: F5 Rolling Shutter

Hi guys/gals, i'm about to pull the trigger on the F5. I'm really concerned about the rolling shutter. How bad is it?
The F55 is way more $$$$ plus its accessories and my budget falls around the F5 mark.
The rolling shutter issue is holding me back. Any suggestions, insights about this please?

The F5 rolling shutter is similar to other CMOS sensors like the F3, the 5D, the Red One, etc. If you're doing a lot of whip pans, like a soccer game or a race car it may be an issue. For most TV shows, movies, commercials, etc it isn't an issue. Like Wannabeapilot asked, what are you shooting?

This is absolutely the truth.

I've had 3 CMOS cams before the 55, going back to 2008. I can count on one hand (less really) the times I've seen a shot later and thought the rolling shutter was a little distracting.

Is the rolling shutter the only reason to decide on F5 vs F55? If you are using the camera to shoot shorts and features does the opportunity for wider color gamut and internal 4 K offer any benefit to you or those you may shoot for? It may but maybe not enough... Regardless what you decide I'm sure you will love the camera you go with.

Or to put it another way, if you can't afford an F55, the F5 is an outstanding camera, and you probably aren't going to regret it, and if you do....... it's always good to have something to aspire to!
