Has Sony announced anything about possible dates for the F5/F55 recording updates?

Also, does the F5 come with 2k XAVC @24-30p out of the box, or is that with a firmware upgrade as well?

I can hold out on 120 fps, but if those other updates are way down the line the Epic will most likely be my next move.

As I understand it, 2K XAVC will not ship with the camera but will be a free firmware upgrade. This is based on information from my early briefing and is also what Jon Fauer says in his extensive pdf on the NewF. I was at the same briefing as Jon but I know that he worked individually with Sony to produce the special issue, so his information would be a bit more up to date than our briefing back in October. But Sony folks have also told me that release feature set is in flux. I suppose this means that in the event a feature is ready earlier than anticipated, it will be included.
