F5: F5 and SCL-Z18X140 Zoom Lens

[skimmel]

I'm trying to figure out if the SCL-Z18X140 zoom lens will work with an F5. Specifically, autofocus and the zoom rocker. I realize it wasn't working with earlier firmware but I can't figure out what the status is now, after firmware updates.

Can anyone help? Thanks.

I'm astonished by the complete lack of attention by Sony when ever ANY question is posed about the lens or about many items of vital interest concerning the F5 F55. I'm dumfounded.

how exactly do you control the zoom on an F5/F55 body - what do you have to buy?
