F3 + slog rental

Anyone with a Sony F3 + Slog + pix240 in Los Angeles or Las Vegas available for rent for 2 days next weekend?
 
I don't think anybody has S-Log yet besides people who got it to play with via Sony.

Supposed to be shipping any second now.

Pix240 is farther out. I don't know anybody who knows any real time frame on those...
 
Yeah I know, both products were suppossed to be out on early July. We´ll see. Of course we can always rent an Aja kit mini instead of the soundlabs recorder...
 
Next weekend as in two days from now, or the following weekend; 7/2, 7/3? I 'should' have my Ki Pro Mini next week, and have a Nano now, for my F3. I'm in OC.
 
It depends on pre-order lists as well, usually the later date is the real date, but hey you never know.
 
Visually there should be no difference between the Ki Pro Mini and Nanoflash footage up to and including moderate grading. Both have 4.2.2 and should be the same for green screen. Its only in extremely heavy grading that the Ki Pro Mini should have an edge. We'll see if that includes S-Log grading or not.
 
needs dual link or 3g sdi. unless they are hiding 3g boards in there, it's never gonna happen. maybe if they offer a hardware upgrade, but not sure if CF cards are fast enough (sustained) to handle pro res 4x4. i've seen those 90 mb/sec cards drop down considerably in speed when you are writing to it for long periods of time.
