F3 settings for SD?

I've been asked to do a job tomorrow with my F3 in SD mode. Anyone have suggestions for settings especially detail? Its news so they want it pretty much ready to go without much tweaking and on first glance the SD looks a little soft from the video out at 0 detail.

I'm not used to looking at SD though.

I can also shoot HD and they can downconvert out from the SDI over the bird apparently. I may chose that because I'm just more comfortable in HD.

Why not shoot HD and then cut in a SD timeline. That way, you have so much more room to frame the footage, doing pans or zoom out with out even moving the camera. Just a thought

Its for a news or some kind of brioadcast outlet and they want SD. I'm not invo;lved in what they do with it nor is it any of my business. They'll take my footage after the job feed it from the SDI out and send it over the air to client on the east coast. Apparently I can shoot in SD, or they can do a live downconvert from HD to SD. I'm leaning to the latter. Wondering if I change my detail settings (usually -20 in 1080) for an SD downconvert.
